Technological advancement is driving reforms in emergency response strategies and tactics. Some of these high-tech advancements have generated public and political concerns about privacy infringements. Typically, any change in government, school, and public policing operations confront challenges, doubts, and questions. The pace of change in technology means that often guardrails historically seen are not in place as regulation and legislation is unable to respond at speed. This means there is a reliance on those in charge to do the right thing.
