Ok, good afternoon, everybody.
Uh, Just a couple of words from Sinia.
What we do is uh network solutions, software solutions, and cyber
security solutions.
And uh this afternoon I'm going to quickly run you through with 2 or 3 cases
we have on this field.
First is transportation.
And uh This is a very busy slide, so don't be afraid.
Uh, I would highlight here that uh what we do with transportation sector is,
uh, we operate the railway speech communication system to finish transport infrastructure
agency and, uh, in the next half year we are going to ramp up a test bed
with the FDA to test 2.0 within
the railway. Context.
So that's going to be very interesting. We're also testing mobile broadband services to
be adapted with bit of a 2.0 railway context.
This other slide actually illustrates the discussion we had earlier with the mobile
broadband devices. This is a software defined network for
transportation sector.
It means that we run container in the router.
So the end devices will be routers will become PCs and the end devices will be more
intelligent than they used to be.
And basically everything that needs to be run on the edge will be run on the edge and other.
Information masses will be directed to the cloud providers with direct connectivity,
for example, Azure and Amazon.
Uh, one case from the energy sector.
This is, uh, our deployment of large scale cellulose car connectivity with DSO so that
means distribution system operator.
Here you see also that the key things are that there are lots of nodes.
You need a lot of connectivity nodes and a lot of different modem possibilities,
usually commercial bandwids with satellite fallback.
And these our findings are that The price is, the OPEC's pricing has to be
very Hello?
There's a huge cloud of different edge devices. Also, we see here the shift that the
actual computation will be nearer, so it will be in the routers in the future.
Everything must be cyber secure and cloud native.
Uh, everything must be simple.
defence in death is uh almost mandatory.
And you need device management automization so it has to be cloud defined and very
elastic, the whole network. OK.
This was a quick run through of a couple of cases and if you have additional questions just
address me now or later.
Thank you.

Mission critical implementation case studies

14 June 2022

Jussi Kiuru explores some Cinia case studies of using mission critical communications. He looks at two key areas of transportation and industry & energy.

Jussi Kiuru, Sales Director, Cinia delivers this presentation.

Serving the sector for more than 20 years, Critical Communications World (CCW) unites mission-critical and business-critical end-users with manufacturers and suppliers for three days of inspiration, knowledge and connections.
