Regarding public safety, access to information, trust and security are key priorities. Unfortunately, not everyone benefits from these key priorities, particularly those with disabilities. People with disabilities are often the last thought regarding new developments in public safety, emergency preparedness and AI-based technologies.
This presentation helps fill the knowledge gap and provide a unique perspective on having people with disabilities as earlier users for the next generation of advanced technology. In addition, it addresses and may challenge some of the practices and strategies when using machine learning and deep learning approaches.
