Canadian NG9-1-1 experience and best practices

This presentation discusses the Canadian transition experience to NG9-1-1 so far. Every PSAP across the country must transition to the new ESInet in advance of the regulatory deadline of Mar 4, 2025, and PSAPs are in different states of preparedness facing different challenges. We will discuss the transition process, the timeline, and the experiences of PSAPs, vendors, and carriers from across the country. We will also outline best practices resulting from the process so far.
